Like art, jewellery is extremely personal and sentimental. At Northern Star Jewellery we run a bespoke design service and we strive to add the personal touch to all our designs.

We were approached in December last year for a particularly special reason. We were asked to design and produce rings for two sisters, who had recently lost their mother. We were approached by their partners with their late mother’s gold jewellery and asked if we could make two pieces using the gold.

At Northern Star Jewellery we design our jewellery using a Computer Aided Design system. After discussing specifications and asking the partners about the personalities of the two sisters, Matthew, our designer, set to work on designing two rings to complement each sister, incorporating their mother’s gold.
